Bracha Lavee is an Israeli artist whose expressive art combines Jerusalem, Israeli and Bible themes with a contemporary visual style which is deeply rooted in ancient and modern biblical experiences. Her use of felt in bright, semi-tropical colors allows her to express these themes dramatically.

This gorgeous piece by the artist features the city of Jerusalem to the right and the and the fruits of Israel to the left. Purple arches are high in the sky and the layers of the sky weave in and out of the arches. The color combination seem to be the artist's new colors of choice -- shades of purples, lavender, plum, periwinkle blues and rich greens. As is typical of Bracha's artwork gold foil accents and outlines certain parts of the print to give it that aura of mystery.
