ARTIST INFORMATION: Amalya Nini was born in a small village in Israel to parents of Yemenite origin. Amalya studied art in Israel and New York. For the past 15 years she has been working in water color and creating intricate papercuts. Recently she has been transferring her work to the medium of the serigraph. Her unique pieces are inspired by themes from the bible, the Israeli landscape and Jewish tradition. Amalya has participated in numerous exhibitions in Israel and the U.S. and her artwork is found in many private collections.
