Payment Policies
- Big Busy Bee Art accepts PayPal (PREFERRED), Money
Orders and Personal Checks. Mastercard, Visa and Amex accepted
through PayPal. Please provide a PayPal confirmed
address.
- Please allow 7 business days for checks to clear.
- New York State Residents to pay 8.375% Sales Tax.
- International Buyers are warmly welcomed but payment must
be in U.S. funds and drawn on a U.S. bank. PayPal accepted from
International buyers with confirmed address.

Combined Shipping
We are happy to combine unframed and unmatted artwork in one
package (domestic) to save you money on shipping costs in the
following manner:
- Smaller artwork up to and including 16" x 20" - Shipping
price applies to 1-10 pieces.
- Larger Artwork over 16" x 20" - Shipping price applies to
1-5 pieces.
- When combining sizes higher shipping price/quantities
apply.
- For larger quantities please e-mail for s/h/i price.
- International quantities are based upon weight. See shipping
chart.
To qualify the following conditions must be met:
- Items must be paid for together in one payment.
- All Items must be shipped together in the same
package.
If the above conditions are not adhered to full shipping costs
will apply and items will be shipped separately to the same
address.
Domestic Shipping
- Most domestic orders are shipped via the United States
Postal Service (USPS). Heavier packages are generally shipped
with UPS.
- Insurance is issued through the company that we
purchase postage through. The package has no markings on it
showing it is insured as per the rules set down by that 3rd
party.
- International Shipping prices are listed below.
- We make every attempt to process and ship your order as
soon as possible. Most orders are shipped within two business
days of payment. Very occasionally we will be out of stock of a
certain item and will ship within 7 business days. Should that
occur we will e-mail to advise you of shipping date.
- Orders are shipped Monday - Thursday.
- Big Busy Bee Art will e-mail a shipping confirmation
notice to you after your package has been shipped.
- Most orders shipped in the U.S. will arrive within 7
days. Occasionally a package will be delayed. A package cannot
be considered lost or an insurance claim filed until 30 days
from date of shipment.
- Big Busy Bee Art is not responsible for packages returned
due to wrong address supplied by customer or PayPal or returned
as undeliverable. Package will be reshipped once buyer has
submitted corrected address and paid for reshipping.
International Shipping
- International customers are responsible for any duties or
taxes associated with the shipment. Custom forms will be marked
as "merchandise" with the actual price as the value. Please
check with your local post office or customs office for more
information.
- International orders are shipped via USPS Global
Priority, Airmail Letter Post or Airmail Parcel Post depending
on the weight of the order. Delivery time is an estimated 7-10
days, however it may take longer due to customs. An
International package cannot be considered lost or insurance
claimed before 30 days from date of shipment.
- Please provide a phone number as is required on the
Customs Form.

Packing
- Before shipping we inspect your art to make sure it is in
perfect condition. We then pack your artwork with the utmost
care to help ensure it arrives in excellent condition.
- Small prints and posters weighing less than 1 lb.
including packaging are sent flat so that we may ship it First
Class.
- In most cases small prints are carefully inserted into
corner protectors so that they don't shift during shipping.
They are then sandwiched between boards to ensure a sturdy
package.
- Quantities of more than one are packed together. Please
carefully remove artwork from the corner protectors to view
them all.
- Please check all packing materials and boards before
discarding.
- Large Prints/Posters are packed rolled in a protective
paper and then inserted into sturdy tubes. End caps are
inserted and then sealed.
Unpacking Your Art
- Artwork is very delicate and can crease if mishandled.
Please unwrap and handle with extreme care.
- Hands should be washed with soap before handling artwork.
Even clean fingers have oils in them that can leave marks on
the artwork.
- It is always best to frame your artwork as soon as
possible. Until then please repack your artwork carefully so as
to protect it.
Damage
- In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged please
inspect packing materials carefully and e-mail Big Busy Bee Art
within 3 days of receipt.
- It is very important to save all packing materials
including wrapping, box, envelope or tube. Insurance cannot be
claimed unless these items are in your possession.
- Do NOT returned damaged item to Big Busy Bee Art.
- We will be glad to work with you in placing an insurance
claim so that you may obtain reimbursement.
Returns
- Due to the delicate nature of prints we are unable to
accept returns or exchanges.
- In the unlikely event that we send a wrong or defective
item please contact us at bigbusybee@aol.com and we will immediately correct our error.
